Teals Consulting is a niche consulting company mainly active in the Financial Services and Energy sectors. We have activities in Belgium, France, Germany and around 40 staff members. We are looking for a dynamic talent to strengthen our Smart Data Management practice.

Overview

As a Data Consultant, you will help organizations to leverage their data to gain insights, make informed decisions, and drive business growth. This position combines sharp analytical skills, business acumen, and technical know-how to turn data into actionable insights and support key business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

• Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources for analysis.
• Translate business needs and requirements into insightful data visualizations.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create and optimize data models for efficient reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
• Automate processes to improve and optimize data reporting.

• Stay up to date with Power BI / Power platform best practices.

Consulting and Advisory:

• Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
• Present findings and insights through reports, presentations, and dashboards.
• Provide clear and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders to improve business processes, increase efficiency, and drive growth.

Required qualifications

From 3 to 6 years of experience in consulting or corporate roles, with a strong focus on data-driven projects.

Technical skills: Experienced in creating compelling visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Qlik. Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query and SQL. Solid understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and ETL processes.

Consulting Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Able of understanding client requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, and presenting recommendations to diverse audiences.

Languages skills: fluent in Dutch or French with a very good knowledge of English.

Academic background: Master in Finance / Business Engineer / Computer Science / Data Science / or a related field. Certifications in related domains such as data visualization, machine learning, and database management is a strong plus.
