- Oversee monthly payroll processes for offices in Belgium, and abroad in close collaboration with local payroll providers.
- Manage all statutory reporting requirements (including DmfA, NSSO, form 325, and Belcotax sheets).
- Prepare payroll reconciliations and ensure post-payroll reporting is delivered in a timely and compliant manner.
- Support the full employee life cycle administration: from onboarding to offboarding, illness, occupational accidents, insurance, and benefit management.
- Be a reliable go-to person for HR colleagues across countries regarding local labour laws and social legislation.
- Help implement and manage a cafeteria plan (flexible income plan), enabling employees to tailor their benefits.
- Track and manage employees with special tax statuses.
- Provide insightful reporting on payroll KPIs, absenteeism, headcount, and turnover for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. works council, social balance sheet).
What you bring
- You bring at least 5 years of relevant payroll experience, ideally within an international and white-collar environment.
- You’ve developed deep knowledge of Belgian social legislation and understand the complexity of multi-country payroll.
- Experience with flexible income plans and HR project implementation is considered a strong asset.
- You’re familiar with working alongside payroll agencies
- Analytical, accurate, and discreet by nature, they are able to meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
- A confident communicator who works proactively and enjoys solving puzzles.
- Fluent in English, Dutch, and French, with solid MS Office skills (especially Excel).
The offer
- Full-time temporary role until 31 December 2025
- Hybrid work model: a mix of central Brussels office days and remote work
- Daily freelance rate: €600
