- Business Analyst

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Brussels. Responsibilities Gather requirements from the client, analyze them, and translate them into clear and concise user stories Act as an internal consultant to translate business questions into insights Define an "action plan" to deliver user stories by helping the team to break down user stories into tasks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements Participate in planning, support, and execution of software development projects Initiate and follow up projects under the close supervision of the Project Leader/Project Manager to ensure that a smooth execution of projects can be guaranteed Validate newly developed systems to ensure that a successful implementation is possible in agreement with the set criteria of the (internal) customer Review and perform root cause analysis of data errors and provide short-term and long-term solutions for issues Participate in user acceptance testing and provide feedback to development teams Resolve roadblocks to maximize team impact Provide direct client support and anticipate client's needs Communicate progress and status of projects to stakeholders and management Prepare and deliver presentations and reports Requirements and skills Fluent (written and spoken) in Dutch, French and English Strong problem-solving and business judgment skills Excellent analytical capabilities including the ability to research Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL Knowledge and experience with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) You get extra points for Knowledge/interest of social funds in Belgium Knowledge of Scrum methodology Experience with visualization tools like Lucid, Miro, etc. 1-2 days on site in Brussels
