Regional Manager APMEA


ROLE:

  • You will be responsible for our commercial activities in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. Given the nature of the role and the close collaboration with our headquarters in Belgium you preferably live in a radius of 50 kilometres from Deinze.
  • Implementing our commercial strategies in order to develop and increase business opportunities with existing customers as well as finding new customers, is your responsibility.
  • You make an overview of the Modern Trade channels (pet shop chains, DIY, garden centers, and e-commerce) and conduct negotiations with the key accounts.
  • You follow and analyze market evolutions and trends in pet food, evaluate competitors' products
  • and maintain accurate records of all public pricings. You keep these data in accurate activity reports.
  • On an annual basis you set up sales and marketing plans for the APMEA areas, and implement them.
  • Being permanently in contact with our local sales people and the distributors' brand managers you implement and follow up on the different sales plans. You act as inspiring coach and role model for the sales & (trade) marketing teams active in these areas amongst others by doing field visits and store-checks with them.
  • You do product trainings for the distributor’s sales force.
  • You also organize and participate in professional exhibitions and consumer shows.
  • You set up and follow up on media plans and motivate distributors to implement our digital media strategy and campaigns
  • You act as SPOC for the local press.
  • You report to the HQ Senior Sales Manager.


PROFILE:

  • You preferably have a university degree.
  • Sales experience within a multinational company is a plus.
  • You are highly interested in the petfood market.
  • You are sales & result driven, and you have excellent negotiation skills.
  • You are a real people manager and coach.
  • Good knowledge of English is a must.
  • You are looking for a long-term employment.
  • Travelling frequently is part of the job (50%).
