Building Materials Belgium (BMB) is one of BME Opco's with 14 branches across Flanders. Over the past 10 years, we’ve grown through a “buy and build” strategy, acquiring companies and uniting them under the BMB brand. Our goal? To create a strong, integrated company that leverages our scale to drive further profitable growth, both organically and through acquisitions. Now, we're looking for a visionary Manager of Finance to join our management team in Antwerp and help us achieve this goal.

Purpose of the Role

As Manager of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving and supporting BMB’s performance improvement and growth agenda. Working closely with the Managing Director and the broader management team, you'll lead the integration of acquisitions, develop the business control function, and build the skills and capabilities of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the finance function into a strategic business partner within BMB.
• Provide actionable business insights and analysis to support decision-making and drive KPIs.
• Develop and implement a scalable finance organization and back-office setup.
• Optimize investment proposals, branch profitability, and risk management strategies.
• Enhance financial management information systems and internal reporting.
• Manage and mentor a talented finance team of 20 people, including 3 direct reports.

What We’re Looking For:

• A strategic and business-minded finance leader with strong analytical skills.
• Proven experience in a finance role within wholesale trading or similar environments.
• A dynamic personality with high integrity, strong influencing skills, and the ability to thrive in a changing environment.
• Fluent in Flemish and English
• A track record in managing mergers & acquisitions and integrating acquisitions.
