Job description
- Lead end-to-end facility expansion projects, from design to implementation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, QA/QC, automation, IT, and operations
- Drive automation and process optimization initiatives to reduce manual activities
- Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and reporting
- Develop and refine project management methodologies, tools, and workflows
- Align with internal and external stakeholders at local and global levels
- Engage with senior leadership to define project scope, priorities, and execution strategy
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments, including collaboration with U.S.-based team
Required competences & skills
- Master’s degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g. Engineering, Bioscience Engineering, Pharmacy, Biochemistry)
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in project management within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medtech industry
- Hands-on experience in operations or manufacturing within a GMP-regulated environment is essential
- PMP certification or equivalent is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across departments and cultures
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Prince2)
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus but not required
