Job Title: Workplace IT Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Ghent, Belgium (onsite)

Type: Contract (6 months initially)

Responsibilities:

This role will be to cover all workplace related topics, including:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for workplace infrastructure including Windows devices, Microsoft 365, endpoint security, and collaboration platforms (e.g. Teams, Zoom).
• Deploy and maintain endpoint management systems for software updates, imaging, and device lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS, application, and network issues across office, lab, and manufacturing environments.
• Server maintenance and upgrades
• Co-ordination with external vendors
• DNS registration
• Laptops and iPhones deployment
• Vendor security with external stakeholders
• Project management activities - following up on things like data loss project to co-ordinate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Circa 5+ years experience in a similar role, supporting enterprise workplace infrastructure
• Experience working in cloud based environment (AWS and Azure)
• Experience managing a 3rd party vendor and collaborating with them
• Able to work at speed, under pressure and deal with stakeholders from all different backgrounds
• Speak fluent Dutch and French (preferred)
