Senior Data Consultant

We are looking for a Medior/Senior Data Consultant with strong experience in data governance, organizational design, and business analysis to join a major data transformation initiative.

This role is ideal for professionals who excel at connecting governance frameworks to real-world enterprise challenges in a pragmatic and structured way.

• Position: Freelance Medior/Senior Data Consultant (Governance Focus)
• Duration: May–September (Full-time)
• Location: Brussels (Hybrid)
• Day Rate: €(Negotiable & Competitive)
• Interview Stages: 2 (Rapid feedback expected)
• Languages: English AND French OR Dutch

Key Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Interviews: Lead discussions with business leaders to capture data governance requirements
• Governance Design: Define roles, responsibilities, and processes for sustainable data management
• Gap Assessment: Evaluate current-state governance across multiple organisational units
• Blueprint Contribution: Translate governance and organisational insights into actionable recommendations
• Collaboration: Align closely with architects and technical consultants on roadmap integration

Must-Have Experience:

• 8–12 years in data governance, business analysis, or enterprise data roles
• Proven experience defining and implementing governance models in large organisations
• Strong facilitation skills across business and IT audiences
• Excellent documentation and presentation abilities

Nice-to-Have:

• Background in telecom, finance, or other regulated sectors
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as GDPR, ISO, or similar
