Commissioning Manager required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Client based in Belgium.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commissioning plans and schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient commissioning activities.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on commissioning progress and any issues encountered.
- Ensure all commissioning activities are documented and archived for future reference.
- Lead and mentor a team of commissioning engineers and technicians.
- Provide training and support to team members to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the commissioning phase.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address their concerns and ensure their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in commissioning or project management are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning management, preferably in the offshore wind, oil and gas, or civil engineering sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing commissioning activities for large-scale projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of commissioning processes and standards.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
