Estimator/Deviseur - 14 Month Contract - Belgium - Competitive Day-Rate with Benefits - Start ASAP

Hello All,

I hope we're all making it through the week in one piece.

We're looking for an experienced Estimator/Cost Engineer to assist out client with the acquiring of key contracts in the Defense sector.

This long-term position comes with a full range of benefits, and offers the chance to work with one of the leading global players in both the Defense and Hydrogen sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis of tenders and documentation: Study in detail the specifications and interact with the various stakeholders.
• Costing and Estimating: Determine equipment, labor, and production costs based on internal references and supplier documents.
• Cost optimization: Identify areas for improvement to optimize prices while guaranteeing the quality and profitability of projects.
• Creation and updating of a reference database: Define price standards and constitute a reliable reference (raw materials, equipment, production times, etc.).
• Collaboration with internal teams: Work closely with the Proposals Engineer, purchasing teams, sales and customer support to ensure consistency and competitiveness of offers.
• Be on-site 5 Days per week

Background:

• Education: Graduate of a technical higher education (minimum BAC+3).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in one or more of the following fields:
• Industrial Experience
• Production or industrial design techniques
• Costing and costing
• Experience in procurement is an asset
• Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of English (written and oral) is essential
• Personal qualities: Organized, rigorous, methodical and with a strong analytical mind
