NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: European Perspectives on Digital China (EPDC) and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The overall objective of this assignment is to which this action contributes is to increase the resilience of the EU bilateral relations with China in the field of digital policies and technologies.
Location: The operational base for the project will be Brussels, Belgium.
Duration: The intended start date is October 2025 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 36 months from this date.

☝️ Qualifications and skills:
- University degree at Master’s level (or equivalent), attested by a diploma in a discipline relevant to this assignment (such as: Public Policies, Political science, International Relations, Economics, China studies, Law, Engineering, Science and Technology studies, Business Administration), or, in its absence, a degree at Bachelor’s level (or equivalent) and an additional five years of experience in addition to the minimum number of years of general professional experience.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills to be demonstrated by past relevant experience.
- High proficiency of English both written and oral, at least at CEFR-level C1 to be demonstrated by certificate or by past relevant experience.
- Knowledge of the Chinese language, at least at CEFR-level B1, to be demonstrated by certificate or by past relevant experience will be considered an asset.
☝️ General professional experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience out of which a minimum of 5 years in a sector relevant to the scope of the assignment such as digital policies, Artificial Intelligence, semiconductors, 5G, Data economy, cloud computing, surveillance technology, smart cities, data and cybersecurity legislation, telecommunications networks, e-commerce and mobile payment systems.
☝️ Specific professional experience:
- Having successfully completed at least two assignments involving research in digital policies, digital policy analysis and strategic studies over the last 5 years, with a combined duration of at least 1 year.
- Having successfully undertaken at least one assignment as team leader/leading role over the last 5 years.
- Work experience on EU-China strategic priorities will be considered an asset.
- A very good knowledge on Chinese digital sector will be considered an asset.
- A very good knowledge on EU digital policies will be considered an asset.
- Previous work experience with networks of experts and/or researchers (including from academic institutions, think-tanks, research centres, law firms, consulting firms, or other companies) will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of EU procedures, in particular related to service contracts will be considered an asset.
