🌿 Senior Software Engineer (Python/Django)

📍 Work from Leuven, Ghent, Antwerp, or Gembloux | 💼 Full-time (CDI preferred)

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend experience to help scale up digital tools that support more intelligent, efficient use of natural resources.

💡 What You’ll Do

• Design and develop backend systems using Python and Django
• Build and maintain APIs and data flows that support geospatial and sensor-driven applications
• Use Docker to containerize applications for scalable deployment
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team on system architecture and new features
• Optionally contribute to frontend development (React or similar)

🛠️ Your Profile

• 7+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on backend
• Mastery of Python, Django, and Docker
• Solid experience with API development, relational databases, and cloud environments
• Curious mindset, team player, and driven by purpose
• Experience with DevOps/CI/CD and frontend technologies is a plus
• Fluent in English (French or Dutch is a bonus)
• Based in Belgium – working from Leuven, Ghent, Antwerp, or Gembloux (hybrid)
