SENIOR AMICABLE COLLECTION OFFICER

Nexeo is currently looking for a Senior Amicable Collection Officer for one of the leading financial institutions in Belgium.

As a Senior Amicable Collection Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the recovery of unpaid instalments to prevent escalation to litigation
• Maintaining daily contact (incoming and outgoing) with customers in arrears
• Analyzing customer files to ensure accurate, efficient, and tailored negotiations
• Applying a customer-centric and solution-oriented approach
• Ensuring respectful and professional communication at all times
• Using IT tools and MS Office to follow up and document cases
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective collection strategies

Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial sector
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Dutch and French, with a proficient level of English
• Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with various IT tools
• A strong interest in finance and banking products is a plus
