Customer Service Agent

Robert Half is looking for a Customer Service Representative in Grimbergen for the German market

As a Customer Service Representative, you will act as the vital link between the sales team and trade partners, managing the full order process from entry to delivery. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and smooth communication across departments. You will report to the Customer Service Team Lead and join a motivated and diverse team.

Key responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for sales orders and trade partner requests
• Process and follow up sales orders, ensuring accurate application of commercial promotions
• Register orders manually in SAP, ensuring all data is correct (price, availability, promotion, quantity, delivery terms)
• Follow up and resolve issues blocking shipments
• Create and share backorder or open order reports with customers
• Coordinate with the sales team regarding new customer setup
• Maintain regular communication with the sales department to maximize customer satisfaction
• Follow up on all orders, both manually and electronically entered
• Coordinate delivery bookings at customer sites
• Plan deliveries and optimize container/truck loads

Your qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or internal sales roles
• Experience with SAP is preferred; knowledge of BI is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Fluent in German and English; any other European language is an asset

Additional information
This is a position based in Grimbergen (Flanders, Belgium) at the EMEA headquarters of a renowned brand in the small domestic appliances industry. You will report directly to the Customer Service Team Lead.
