Finance & Operations Senior Manager

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Finance & Operations Senior Manager (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels .

Our client is a non-governmental organization .

As Finance & Operations Senior Manager (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:

• Maintain and develop financial systems, policies, and procedures;
• Lead on accounting matters, budgeting, financial reporting (core and donor-funded projects), and auditing processes;
• Prepare financial updates for stakeholders, including the management team, the board and audit committee;
• Manage relations with external auditors, financial institutions, members or donors;
• Monitor financial risks and compliance with Belgian regulations;
• Direct management of the finance team (2 members);
• Handle additional finance-related duties as needed.

The required profile for the Finance & Operations Senior Manager (m/f/x) position:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, ideally in an international non-profit or a membership-based organisation (corporate experience also considered);
• Strong expertise in accounting, financial planning and analysis;
• A good command of odoo.com is desirable;
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams;
• Solid understanding of the Belgian law and regulations affecting nonprofits;
• Proactive problem-solver with strong leadership skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill;
• Ability to work within a network of multicultural staff and stakeholders;
• Fluency in English and French or Dutch is required.
