General Ledger Accountant

Robert Half is currently looking for a General Ledger Accountan t (M/F/X) for a fix contract .

The company, an international company active in the recycling and metal sector, is located in Brussels .

As a General Ledger Accountant (M/F/X), you will be responsible for:

• Guarding the integrity of the general ledger ;
• Preparing accurate and timely annual statutory financial statements ;
• Consolidating the statutory budget and forecasts ;
• Prepare tax fillings and reporting ;
• Preparing and completing the VAT declarations ;
• Handling month-end and year-end closings.

The required profile for the General Ledger Accountant (M/F/X) position has :

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar function ;
• An excellent knowledge of English and French or Dutch;
• Knowledge of SAP , as well as a good knowledge of BEGAAP and IFRS ;
• Strong technical skills.
