Internal SAP Integration Architect – Leuven (Hybrid)

Location: Leuven, Belgium (1 day/week in office)

I'm partnering with an international organisation that’s embracing innovation and digital transformation across multiple business domains. As part of their continued growth and strategic investment in technology, they’re now looking for an Internal SAP Integration Architect to join their in-house SAP team.

About the Role

In this hands-on and strategic role, you will be responsible for driving the integration architecture and delivering scalable SAP integration solutions. You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate operational requirements into robust integration logic—leveraging modern SAP technologies to ensure business continuity and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the full integration lifecycle—from analysis through implementation and ongoing optimisation.
• Take a hands-on approach to building, testing, and deploying SAP integrations.
• Work with the latest SAP integration tools, including SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, and others.
• Act as a technical lead on one or more integration and automation projects.
• Collaborate with business and external partners to ensure effective and secure data exchanges.
• Evolve and enhance the enterprise integration and automation architecture with innovative, value-driven solutions.
• Operate within a matrix-style environment, reporting hierarchically to the domain lead, and functionally to the project or program manager.

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone who enjoys both strategy and delivery, with strong SAP knowledge and a collaborative mindset.

Must-haves:

• Solid experience working with SAP CPI and other SAP integration technologies (e.g., APIs, OData, REST, SOAP, EDI).
• Practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and development.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example and work in cross-functional teams.
