Internal SAP Solution Architect

Are you an experienced SAP professional ready to make a real impact in a growing international environment? We’re looking for a SAP Solution Architect to join a fast-paced and forward-thinking organization at its European HQ in Mechelen.

About the Role:

As a SAP Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing and overseeing the implementation of robust SAP solutions that support business strategy and drive innovation. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners across global markets, contributing directly to the success of business-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable SAP solutions aligned with business objectives
• Lead RFP processes when required
• Oversee high-quality implementation and integration of SAP modules
• Translate business needs into technical designs and system architecture
• Support project teams with expert-level SAP guidance
• Ensure systems are reliable, high-performing, and future-ready
• Recommend improvements based on system analysis
• Stay on top of emerging SAP tools and best practices
• Maintain clear documentation of solutions and architectural standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve priority issues (e.g., P1 support)
• Develop and uphold configuration and coding standards
• Maintain and update core SAP templates and documentation
• Validate user authorization models and manage license compliance
• Support audit processes and ensure adherence to internal standards

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in SAP architecture and full-cycle implementation
• Strong knowledge of SAP technologies, ideally including S/4HANA and BTP
• Deep understanding of enterprise processes and their SAP integration
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communicator with the ability to engage across departments
• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, international environment
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
• SAP certifications are a plus
