Position: Portfolio Manager


As a Project Portfolio Manager at Phinest, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing project portfolios. You will play a key role in managing finances, human resources, demand, and project performance, while ensuring effective governance and prioritization solutions. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the achievement of the client's strategic objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Financial/Budget Management: Oversee and optimize project budgets to ensure efficient use of financial resources.
  • Human Resource/Capacity Management: Coordinate human resource capacity and effectively allocate resources to projects.
  • Demand Management: Evaluate and prioritize project requests to align initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • Performance Management: Implement reporting systems and dashboards (using PowerBI), collect and analyze data to assess project performance.
  • Prioritization Solutions: Develop and implement prioritization solutions to ensure that the most important projects are completed first.
  • Governance: Design governance structures, establish rules, and facilitate meetings for effective project management.
  • Tooling: Utilize and optimize portfolio management tools such as Planisware and Planview to enhance project management.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Master Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience as Portfolio Manager or as PMO (must have in a consulting environment).
  • Excellent financial and budget management skills.
  • Strong human resource management skills and the ability to manage team capacity.
  • Advanced data analysis skills and experience using reporting tools (PowerBI).
  • Ability to design and implement effective prioritization solutions.
  • Experience with portfolio management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in French and English, Dutch is an asset.
