Position Summary

With your strong sense of accuracy and high level of ownership, you will join our dynamic Accounting Department and get an overview of the entire accounting process.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Balance sheet and profit and loss
• Accounts consolidation and reconciliation
• Accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing
• Preparation of VAT/CIT declarations and statistical reporting
• Reports/analysis on a monthly base for other departments
• Internal and external audits
• Accounts payable, bank statements and payments
• Manage vendor accounts

What do we require?

• A degree in accounting (or related) and minimum 2-3 years of experience in a general accounting role
• Knowledge of accounting principles such as Belgian GAAP and eager to learn more
• Knowledge of VAT/CIT principles and non-deductible costs are considered an asset
• Analytical mindset and high level of ownership
• Detail oriented and good Excel knowledge
• Strong communication skills in English
