Telecom Project Engineer

Airswift are currently recruiting for a Telecoms Project Engineer to play a key role working across a number of Transmission projects in Belgium, you will be primarily focussed on the modification and construction of HV Substations.

Your focus will be to consult with telecom infrastructure management to establish and present solutions and understand the overall design of the project then shape this into focused telecom needs.

The position is to be based in Brussels at the client offices however there can be some flexibility on Hybrid working. The initial contract duration will be until the 31st of August 2026 with potential scope for extension.

Key tasks & responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design and definition of the Telecommunications part of projects, through to commissioning and completion
• Consult with the managers of the telecom infrastructure to determine the correct solution
• Assist the design team during detailed study, including creation of plans for construction and installation of telecoms systems

Requirements:

• Prior experience with infrastructure projects as a project engineer.
• Ideally experience within Telecommunications Packages
• Civil or Industrial Electrical Engineer.
• Valid residence permits for Belgium.
