AML Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Anti-Money Laundering (AML) specialist to join our team as the Head of Compliance Function. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services, with a proven track record in AML compliance and risk management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing our AML/CFTP framework, ensuring it remains robust, proportionate, and aligned with business activities and ML/FT risk profile. This includes:

• Design and Oversight of AML Framework: Ensure our AML/CFTP policies, procedures, and internal controls are up-to-date and effective.
• Coherence and Integration: Foster consistency between AML/CFTP measures and operational processes across all business lines, aligning with groupwide AML/CFTP strategies.

In addition to AML expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex risks and decisions to senior stakeholders and external regulators. • Education: University degree in law, finance, economics, risk management, or related field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in financial services, preferably with experience in compliance, risk, audit, or AML functions.
• Skills: Proven experience in a senior leadership or board-facing role, in-depth understanding of AML/CFTP regulations, and ability to assess and influence AML strategy and risk governance.
