BACHI (Belgian Association of the Consumer Healthcare Industry), the Belgian association representing companies active in the OTC healthcare industry is looking for aRegulatory Affairs Manager (M/F) – Medicines Permanent contract starting on 1/09/2025Job descriptionThe Regulatory Affairs Manager occupies a crucial and strategic position within BACHI. He/She provides critical opinion and communicates on issues impacting members of the association. With the other Regulatory Affairs Managers, he/she supports members on a daily basis with their RA needs such as for ex. law interpretation, new laws in force, product notification, advertising claims, price files, medical complaints, brand names, European regulations, national regulations, etc.You report directly to the Regulatory Affairs Director.Your mission can be described as follows: Advise on new policies and legislation both at national and European level and inform members about the business consequencesParticipation in RA meetings (relating to medicines) with authorities, other associations and stakeholders to represent the interests and position of BACHI members and in order to collect and communicate informationOrganization of internal working groups (WG Medicines) to explain members the new trends and laws, try to shape the best position to adopt and ensure the follow-up of decisions takenParticipation in interesting trainings/seminars with a specific interest for BACHI and its membersFor this position, we are looking for a flexible part-time or full-time employee (min. 60%). The contract will start on September 1, 2025.Required profileThe ideal candidate has the following skills: Scientific university degree, ideally in pharmacy (Master)Previous experience in Regulatory Affairs (ideally min. 2-3 years, including OTC products)Existing network within the industry and with the authorities is a plusFluent in Dutch, French and English (both written and spoken)Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Team player, dynamic, autonomous, well-organized, diplomatic, flexible and proactiveStrong commitment: clearly willing to achieve the agreed objectivesEnvironment knowledge: understand how decisions are taken and how changes are approached within the pharmaceutical industry and regarding legislationDirect and indirect influence on the external environment to explain members the needs and expectations About BACHIBACHI is the Belgian association of companies active in the over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and healthcare products industry.
