Measurement of Mechanical Properties of MEMS Devices via Electrical, Mechanical and Optical Methods As a MEMS characterization engineer, you will support the development of novel MEMS designs in both existing and emerging technologies. You will develop new measurement methodologies, build and program setups, and characterize MEMS devices across electrical, mechanical, optical, or acoustical domains.
Required Knowledge and Skills
A Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with relevant experience in the characterization (and design) of MEMS.
Proven experience with multiphysics measurement methodologies and tools in the:
Electrical domain (e.g., signal generator, oscilloscope, lock-in amplifier, impedance analyzer, network analyzer)
Optical domain (e.g., laser Doppler vibrometer, white light interferometer, digital holographic microscope)
Mechanical domain (e.g., nano-indenter, microforce prober)
Proficiency in MATLAB and Python , for data analysis and for automation across multiple measurement tools.
A general understanding of microfabrication techniques is considered an asset.
Strong team player with effective communication and reporting skills.
Good command of English is required due to the international nature of the work environment.
