General Ledger Accountant –Belgian Industrial Group in a Phase of Strong We are recruiting a General Ledger Accountant to join the finance team of a large, well-established Belgian group active in major industrial projects both locally and internationally.About the Group This family-owned group is a key player in the Belgian industrial sector with a longstanding presence. Employing several thousand people, it generates annual revenues in the multi-billion euro range. With a stable operational margin and a strong commitment to sustainable development, the group operates across industrial production, engineering, and property development. It is involved in large-scale national projects including complex infrastructure and urban development.In 2025, with a record order book, especially on the Belgian market, the company is focused on improving profitability and optimizing its financial processes. You will play an important role in supporting this strategic transformation.Your Role As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for the general accounting of approximately 40 Belgian entities, including joint ventures and complex operational structures. You will join a professional team covering general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, tax, and administration, reporting directly to the local accounting manager.Key Responsibilities:Manage the general ledger accountingPrepare monthly and annual closingsHandle VAT declarations, reconciliations, and statutory complianceSupport annual accounts preparation and corporate tax filingsCollaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentationParticipate in financial process improvement initiativesYour Profile4 to 5 years of experience in Belgian general accountingFluent in French or Duch AND English; good command of Dutch is a strong assetFamiliar with multi-entity or project-based environmentsStable, detail-oriented, and proactive personalityComfortable working in a large team and coordinating with various departmentsYour OfferGross monthly salary: up to €4,500 gross depending on experienceAnnual discretionary bonusMeal vouchers (€8/day)Group and hospitalization insuranceNet allowances (telework, representation)Two days remote work per week20 legal holidays + 12 RTT days (working time reduction)Career development opportunities within a large international organizationExposure to a complex and impactful accounting environmentLocation: Brussels (North-East), easily accessible by public transport and car.If you want to join a forward-looking industrial group, recognized for its ambitious projects and sustainable approach, while working in a challenging and structured environment, don’t hesitate to apply!
