For our client in Brussels we are looking for a Freelance Portfolio Manager Security:

Your Mission

As an IT Portfolio Manager, you will lead the strategic oversight of our Security project portfolio within IT infrastructure. You will develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio management framework that aligns with our organizational goals. Working closely with senior leadership and project managers, you’ll ensure projects are delivered efficiently, to high quality standards, and in line with best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a prioritized project pipeline for Infra & Security.
• Ensure optimal resource allocation across the portfolio.
• Align the project portfolio with the organization’s strategic objectives.
• Maintain a global, holistic view of the portfolio and report regularly to top management.
• Support and coach project managers, acting as a role model.
• Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management processes and methodologies.

Your Profile

Required Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals
• PECB Certified: ISO 27001 Senior Lead Auditor
• PECB Certified: NIS2 Directive Senior Lead Implementer

Required Experience (Minimum 5 years):

• As an architect, project leader, solution designer, and team lead
• With Active Directory (DHCP, DNS, DFC, Clustering, GPO)
• In cybersecurity audits, IAM & PAM
• In MSP contract negotiation and follow-up
• With networks, hypervisors, and Azure
• In stakeholder management
• In the Belgian utilities sector

Preferred Experience:

• As a technical writer
• In crisis management

Methodologies:

• Proven experience with PMI or Prince2 frameworks
