Bridgestone and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand products and solutions to address the needs of a broad range of customers and industries.Job Purpose:You will take care of all Bridgestone tax matters in Belgium and the Netherlands, covering the EMEA headquarters, the sales branch and the retail entities controlled by Bridgestone. You will report to the Head of Direct Tax EMEA and will be part of the EMEA Tax Center of Excellence, working closely with Bridgestone Head of Transfer Pricing and Head of VAT.Responsibilities:You participate actively in tax strategy by becoming a true Business Partner being integrated in the business decision process. In this role you:Manage all compliance activities for direct tax in Belgium and the NetherlandsEnsure the timely submission of all tax filing requirements with appropriate and consistent disclosuresEnsure the timely payment of tax liabilities and appropriate retention of informationCoordinate the tax accounting activities and manage the current and deferred tax positionsManage Tax audits and ad-hoc tax authorities requests for informationContribute to a fair picture of direct tax assets and liabilitiesSupport the increase of quality and transparency efforts in compliance activities.
