Technical Project Manager / Delivery Team


Job position:Technical Project Manager (Must have Railway experience)Job description:Lead as Design Authority for customer projects in charge of technical coordination, be the single point of contact for customers regarding technical topics and be accountable for quality/cost/delivery of Project Engineering activities​.Responsibilities:Project Management of technical tasks: FiC engineering, installation design, safety and certification at vehicle level, delivery of technical customer documentation, ...​Follow close installation design with integrators to ensure the solution is fully compliant with technical requirements and technical constraints​.Make the bridge with the Integration and development team to ensure products are compliant to customer needs / operational constraints and make sure product constraints are exported to customers. ​Participate actively in pre-sales to provide technical input for new potential projects and review technical solutions with customers to ensure solutions are workable and aligned with product strategy. ​Contribute to reviews with key stakeholders (NSA, ERA, Debo, NoBo, ISA, AsBo, ...)​Animate project technical reviews on weekly basis with relevant colleagues (safety, certification, operations, ...)​Close follow up costs and provide reforecast on monthly basis​.Ensure on time delivery of project technical documentation required for customer projects​.You arbitrate priorities on the programs, balancing technical, costs, and project constraints.Ideally, you are headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, but will travel according to the projects/program needs.ProfileYou have a master’s degree in engineering, ideally complemented with a Business Administration degree, with relevant engineering experience in the Railways Domain. Or you can show equivalent successful experience acquired in the railway industry.You can demonstrate successful experience as Program/project manager on one or more projects/programs, as responsible or reporting to the responsible, from program inception to maintenance, including the authorizations activities, of at least.Whether one project/program of installation of an ETCS board, in Europe,Or one project/program of sub-system product development, being ETCS and/or Class B compliant.You can ideally demonstrate successful participation in the integration of Class B system(s) boards.You are familiar with the applicable norms (including the CENELEC EN50126 and EN50129, ISO9001) and authorities for certifications and authorizations of vehicles in Europe (NoBo, DeBo, ISA, AsBo, ERA)You enjoy going “hands on” when needed.You inspire confidence and can adapt to changing situations.You build great teams, where people can thrive.
