Regional Sales Director - Automotive

Our client, a pan-European company, with an innovative growth strategy seeks Regional Sales Director - Automotive to lead their Technical Services business to continued expansion across Belgium.

They seek a commercially astute Regional Sales Director - Automotive with either technical services, electrical or mechanical services industry experience to join their expanded team. Focusing largely on public sector tendering proposals, the successful candidate will bring with them a proven background in leading public sector tendering exercises.

Key objectives for the Regional Sales Director - Automotive:

• Sales: You will lead public tendering processes from strategy to submission
• Identify and secure new commercial opportunities across Belgium
• Led a small team currently, with the aim to growth this function as the business increases it’s already impressive growth strategy
• Monitor market trends and policy developments in public procurement to stay ahead of the competition

Key Skills:

• 10 plus years experience in technical or mechanical services, with a good understanding of operational challenges and solutions where you have progressed to gain commercial responsibilities
• Strong experience in public tendering – including preparing winning bids and managing complex contracts
• Business development mindset with a strategic and analytical approach
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French (bilingual is highly desirable); English is mandatory
• Willingness to travel across Belgium as needed
