Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

We're seeking a seasoned Information Security Specialist to enhance and maintain our client's information security posture. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing information security measures, with a high degree of autonomy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in day-to-day security operations, including advanced security monitoring and proactive threat hunting
• Conducting in-depth vulnerability assessments and contributing to the development of strategies to address security weaknesses
• Ensuring adherence to information security standards, particularly ISO 27001 and NIS2 directives, and supporting audit processes
• Participating in the full lifecycle of security incident response, from detection and analysis to containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review
• Contributing to the development and delivery of security awareness programs and training for employees
• Assisting in the design and review of secure architectures for new and existing systems, applications, and infrastructure
• Configuring, optimizing, and managing various security tools and technologies

Required skills and qualifications include:

• 3-5 years of experience in an information security role, with +/- 3 years of experience in NIS 2 & ISO27001
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, network security protocols, cloud security principles, and common attack vectors
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cysa+, CEH, or equivalent
• Language proficiency: fluent in Dutch, English, and French (written and spoken)
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
