ARCA is supporting a cutting-edge motorsport tech business that’s redefining how professional racing teams prepare to perform. With a team built from the upper tiers of motorsport, they’re delivering best-in-class Driver-in-the-Loop (DiL) simulation technology that replicates elite race conditions, without turning a wheel on track.

They’re now looking for a hands-on (Senior) Simulator Engineer to join the team and help operate, develop, and refine the systems powering their advanced virtual testing platform.

What you’ll be doing:

• Running simulator sessions and managing driver/team interactions
• Integrating and optimising vehicle, tyre and track models
• Working closely with modellers on real-time physics implementation
• Enhancing system reliability, usability and technical performance
• (Senior) Leading technical programmes and mentoring junior engineers
• Supporting facility operations and liaising with technical partners

About you:

• Background in Engineering, Physics or similar (MSc/PhD preferred)
• Strong experience with DiL simulators—ideally in motorsport
• Solid grasp of model integration, control systems, HiL, motion cueing etc.
• Proficiency with tools like Matlab/Simulink, Python, C/C++
• Confident, detail-focused and comfortable working independently
• Fluent in English (French/German a bonus)
• Open to occasional travel across Europe
