Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

In this role, you’ll support a wide range of clients in the day-to-day management and evolution of their infrastructure environments, with a strong focus on Nutanix technology. You'll be involved in both project delivery and proactive managed services, helping customers get the most out of their hybrid cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide operational support for customers using Nutanix HCI environments.
• Design, deploy, and optimize virtual infrastructure and storage solutions based on Nutanix (AHV or ESXi).
• Handle incidents, changes, and service requests in line with ITIL best practices.
• Collaborate on infrastructure projects involving backup, disaster recovery, and automation.
• Perform health checks and proactively advise clients on system improvements.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and suggest improvements or upgrades to client environments.
• Document system configurations and procedures thoroughly.

Your Skills & Background

• You have 3+ years of experience working in IT infrastructure roles.
• Solid hands-on experience with Nutanix (AHV, Prism, Calm, etc.) is essential.
• Comfortable working with virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Familiar with backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, etc.) and monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, and server hardware.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code is a big plus.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with good knowledge of English.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Nutanix certifications (NCP, NCAP, NCM).
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Previous experience in a managed services or MSP context.
