Job Description:

The Lead Operations Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data models that support the organization's operational and strategic objectives. The focus is on modeling business objects, aligning processes, KPIs, and systems, and guiding change management within a complex, international organization.

Responsibilities:

• Modeling of operations, business objects, and associated life cycles
• Alignment of business processes with object workflows
• Linking KPIs to objects and processes
• Updating the data model within the enterprise architecture
• Monitoring implementations and contributing to change management
• Analyzing databases, APIs and systems for consistency and areas for improvement
• Supporting business teams, product owners and architects
• Reporting on governance and implementation milestones

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar. Master is a plus.
• Experience: Min. 5 years in business/data analysis and modeling. Experience in the transport sector is a plus.

Technisch:

• Sterk in SQL, API’s en Excel
• Data visualisatie skills
• Knowledge of data modelling (but not purely formal/theoretical)
• Experience with BPM, Event Modelling and Event Sourcing is an added value

Soft skills:

• Strong communication skills (Dutch not required, but fluent French and English)
• Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive and independent work attitude
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team player with a sense of change management and governance.
