About the Role

We are currently looking for a Senior Angular Front-End Developer to strengthen our internal capabilities on a strategic, high-security project. You will be responsible for designing, evolving, and maintaining robust front-end applications in Angular, within a technically demanding and impactful environment.

This role combines hands-on technical delivery with architectural thinking and a strong sense of responsibility. You’ll work in close collaboration with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance across the application landscape. Beyond development, you’ll contribute to the continuous improvement of standards, mentor less experienced team members, and stay ahead of technology trends that matter.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front-end development of new applications using Angular and modern web technologies
• Improve and maintain the front-end of existing applications
• Translate business and functional analyses into clear technical specifications
• Guarantee the application of development and security standards
• Provide technical documentation and support for testing and quality assurance
• Actively coach colleagues and share expertise
• Participate in the continuous improvement of tools, frameworks, and methodologies
• Resolve incidents and adapt applications to evolving requirements
• Stay up to date with technology trends and contribute insights to the team

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience in front-end development with Angular and its ecosystem
• Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, AJAX
• Hands-on experience with web services (REST, JSON), microservices architecture, Git/GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Maven/Gradle, IntelliJ
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, Elastic/ELK), Red Hat and virtualized infrastructure (VMware, OpenShift)
• Clear understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and team spirit
• You are comfortable working in a highly secure environment and are open to undergoing a personal background check as part of the clearance process
• On-site work required in Brussels, 5 days a week (no remote work possible)
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with working knowledge of the other and of English
