Automation Technical Project Lead

Due to our continuous growth, we are currently looking for an Automation Technical Project Lead with proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Location: Lessines, Belgium.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects for filling, packaging, and visual inspection systems in the pharmaceutical environment.
• Define technical solutions and coordinate design activities (mechanical, electrical, software).
• Manage the integration of vision systems, printer and serialization systems, ERP/MES/EBR interfaces, and line control software.
• Supervise FAT/SAT, commissioning, and qualification activities.
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of automated systems.
• Ensure full compliance with GMP, GAMP5, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering (or similar) with a specialization in Automation (or a related technical field).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Automation within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience in filling and packaging lines in the pharma environment, including: Mechanical Layout Design, Electrical Design, Software Interface Design.
• Experience with: Vision systems, Visual inspection technologies, Mechanical integration, Printer systems, Line control system software, ERP and MES/EBR system interfaces, Serialization systems.
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
• Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
