About the Job

Proximus works with external partners to build and maintain our fixed telecom networks (Copper and Fiber). Our Procurement team is key in choosing partners and managing projects from network construction to service activation. We need to secure capacity and control costs for our Fiber network project in Belgium. To help with this, we are strengthening our Fixed Access Network Fiber Team.

Role & Responsibilities within the procurement team:


  • Develop Strategies: Implement the procurement strategies for Civil Works and Digging & Paving.
  • Manage Projects and Processes: Oversee procurement projects, working in/with cross-functional teams
  • End to End Contract Management: creation & negotiation of frame agreements/single contracts with suppliers
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Act as the main contact ( SPOC) for internal business stakeholders in Copper and Fiber.
  • Handle Claimsmanagement: follow up and handling claims related to quality, logistics, and quantity issues.
  • Monitor Market and Ensure Compliance with the procurement process, workmethods, internal procedures
  • Track market changes for cost-saving opportunities, reduce TCO, keep up with new trends
  • Reporting to the Lead Manager Procurement Fixed Access BE

Your profile


  • Minimum 3+ years in a procurement role, we don’t demand technical knowledge but willingness to learn the business
  • Strong communication skills, able to synthesize documents / meetings
  • Pragmatic thinker, hands-on : focus on results and value
  • Willing to commute between site over Belgium
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, English
  • Office Skills: Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup), Word, PowerPoint
