Technical Works Manager

We ARE Renewables is looking for a Technical Works Manager to join our client in the offshore wind industry.

Your Responsibilities:

• Review and assess "ready to schedule" job packages provided by technical engineers.
• Create integrated schedules, assigning appropriate skills, resources, and other requirements.
• Manage the stage gate preparation process and create schedules for Technical Supervisors involved in the Fleet Intervention project.
• Track daily progress during project execution and report on actions to expedite tasks.
• Ensure timely project initiation by coordinating safety inspections, site arrivals, and tool readiness.
• Take charge of small repair tasks in the absence of the project manager and collaborate with technical supervisors.

Your Profile:

• Effective team player with strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Skilled in planning tools like Primavera and Microsoft Project (willing to learn on the job).
• Solid technical background in ship repair and conversion.
• Proactive attitude with excellent analytical and planning skills.
• Ability to gather and consolidate information from diverse sources.
• Demonstrates good leadership capabilities.
• Adept at fostering relationships with vessels, management teams, and subcontractors.
• Project preparation is done at headquarters, with execution phases occurring abroad (the approximate ratio of preparation to execution is 3:1).
