The Customer Service & Customs Manager combines customer service and customs operations activities, leads a team through digital and process transformation. It requires hands-on order management, compliance oversight, and cross-functional coordination with internal and external international stakeholders. Our client is based in the greater area of Bruges. The Customer Service & Customs Manager will Manage a team of 4 customer service colleagues and participate in the operations for the full order-to-cash cycle for B2B clients, ensuring timely delivery and invoicing. Serve as primary point of contact for international customers. Coordinate closely with planning, logistics, and internal sales teams. Oversee customs documentation and ensure trade compliance for exports/imports. Collaborate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to enable smooth border clearance. Maintain a compliant and auditable customs record-keeping system. Modernize and improve workflows and systems (e.g., transition from paper to digital). The Customer Service & Customs Manager we are looking for has/is: +3 years of experience in customer service management and/or customs in a B2B international environment. Good working knowledge ERP (SAP preferred). Experience with trade compliance requirements. Proactive and customer-focused with strong organizational skills. Able to take leadership over a small team and bring confidence and structure. Communicates fluently in Dutch and English; French and/or German is a plus. Flexible and agile: able to adapt to evolving systems and processes. Holds a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. International Trade, Logistics, Business). T...
