What does it feel like to be a Technical Writer ?
As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the team, responsible for creating and maintaining public documentation about the European database on medical devices. This online database will integrate different electronic systems to collate and process information about medical devices and related companies.
As a Technical Writer, you will:
- Produce high quality documentation for the information systems.
- Write concise, easy-to-understand documentation that simplifies complex technical concepts into content consumable by all skill levels and roles.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Software Engineers, Developers, Support Engineers and more, to scope and define documentation projects.
- Ensure that documentation is available in time, aligned with the product development and maintenance process.
- Work with internal teams on product and documentation requirements.
- Provide services to all stakeholders according to ITIL best practices, handling and documenting all requests and feedback.
Qualifications:
What would make you a fit for the role:
- University Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in technical writing for software documentation.
- Knowledge of technical content writing tools, wiki and collaborative sites.
- General IT skills (HTML, CSS) and good knowledge of MS-Office.
- Excellent oral and written command of English language.
- Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable.
- Experience with Paligo would be a plus.
- Experience in a health-related sector would be considered as an advantage.
