OT Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Manager to lead the secure and efficient operation of our OT infrastructure across production facilities in Belgium. You will play a key role in bridging engineering, cybersecurity, and IT, ensuring robust, compliant, and future-proof systems supporting our industrial processes.

This position is pivotal in our digital transformation journey, driving NIS2 compliance, OT cybersecurity, and smart factory initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the OT infrastructure team across multiple production sites
• Develop and implement a long-term OT architecture strategy, aligned with cybersecurity, IT, and production goals
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (NIS2, ISO 62443, IEC 61508, ISA/IEC standards)
• Design and oversee segmentation of IT and OT networks, including firewalls, access control, and remote access
• Manage lifecycle and support for SCADA, PLC, DCS, MES, and industrial automation systems
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, security, and compliance teams to align roadmaps
• Oversee OT asset inventory, patching, and vulnerability management
• Lead and coordinate vendor selection, procurement, and system integrator engagements
• Train and coach internal staff on OT system use, updates, and best practices
• Respond to incidents and support forensic analysis in coordination with the CISO/SOC team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in OT, ICS, or industrial automation, including 3+ years in a management role
• In-depth knowledge of OT network architecture, SCADA/DCS systems, and industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, PROFINET, etc.)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards (NIS2, ISO 27001, IEC 62443)
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with excellent command of English
• Certifications (preferred): GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443, CISSP, PMP, TOGAF

Nice to Have

• Experience with smart factory / Industry 4.0 platforms
• Previous work in pharma, food, chemicals, energy, or logistics
• Experience with OT monitoring tools (e.g., Nozomi, Claroty, Fortinet OT, Palo Alto)
