For one of our prominent clients, an international player in the high-tech systems sector, we are looking for a driven Tools Engineer for their location in the Liège region.
Our client is looking to strengthen their team with an employee who will play a crucial role in automating and optimizing software development processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Setting up development infrastructure: You are responsible for implementing and maintaining CI/CD systems.
- Process optimization: You define and implement best practices to improve and automate development, testing, and release strategies.
- Cybersecurity (DevSecOps): You identify and implement security measures and continuously perform vulnerability assessments.
- Expertise and advice: You act as a tooling expert, both internally and externally, and advise on new technologies and processes.
- Collaboration: You facilitate communication and interaction between software engineers, testers, and the IT department.
Your Profile
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- You have in-depth knowledge of Linux (CentOS/RedHat, Ubuntu), shell scripting, and virtualization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
- You are familiar with common CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and SonarQube.
- Knowledge of cloud/system monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and various database systems (SQL/NoSQL) is a plus.
- You have a strong interest in software quality and cybersecurity.
- You are a proactive, autonomous team player with a thorough and organized approach.
- You are a native French speaker with professional proficiency in English.
- Additional assets include:
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Robot Framework or Cucumber.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Groovy, or Lua.
- Experience with Cloud providers (preferably Azure, or Google/AWS).
- Experience with complex software solutions.
