About the Role
As a Digital Programmatic and Direct Expert at OMD, you'll be responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting on programmatic and direct campaigns for a diverse client portfolio. You’ll ensure operational excellence, support internal teams, and contribute to campaign strategy with a strong analytical and technical foundation. This role requires a hands-on expert with a collaborative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Build direct/programmatic media plans and campaign structures based on client briefings and platform best practices.
- Manage the full campaign lifecycle with a strong focus on QA, monitoring, optimization, and strategic alignment.
- Coordinate and support junior team members with operational tasks (e.g., campaign setup, troubleshooting, data extraction).
- Step in to ensure smooth campaign delivery when needed.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, supporting strategic leads on programmatic-related narratives.
- Analyze campaign performance and deliver clear tactical recommendations, learnings, and next steps.
- Share input in media strategy discussions, including tactical planning and performance insights.
- Test and evaluate new platforms, formats, and features, and share findings with the team.
- Collaborate with internal teams, media partners, and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality execution.
- Identify and solve workflow, tooling, or process inefficiencies to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Document and share best practices, case studies, and technical know-how with the team.
- Manage campaign administration such as invoicing, budget follow-up, and resolving setup issues.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and propose ideas to enhance internal operations and campaign results.
- Use internal tools and systems consistently to organize daily campaign management tasks.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong ability to translate media briefs into tactical programmatic plans across platforms, formats, and budgets.
- Technically proficient in campaign setup, QA, monitoring, and optimization on platforms like DV360, Amazon DSP, and Teads.
- Deep understanding of performance KPIs across the funnel (awareness to conversion) and how to optimize accordingly.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.
- Experience with troubleshooting issues such as underdelivery or technical setup bugs.
- Leadership in guiding and supporting junior team members in operational tasks.
- Excellent collaboration skills across internal teams, clients, and external vendors.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines efficiently.
- Proactive in suggesting and implementing process improvements.
- Eagerness to test new tools and formats in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders.
