Hardware Engineer

Mission :

• Management of hardware qualification process of electrical and instrumentation equipment;
• Research of substitute products for obsolete qualified equipment;
• Meet experts assigned by Suppliers & Clients;
• Draft specifications and technical requisition files for purchasing of Instrumentation equipment;
• Draft qualification programs according to current referential;
• Evaluation and choice of test laboratories;
• Place orders and follow up of the Contract;
• Follow up of qualification tests;
• Draft meeting and hardware qualification reports;
• Present and defend hardware/software qualification in front of the Client;
• Perform Quality Audits according to standards for suppliers of qualified equipment;
• Perform evolution evaluation of qualified equipment and draft reports;
• Provide support, related to hardware qualification, for Electricity, Instrumentation and Control System projects.

Activities :

• Specification of tests to be performed to demonstrate the E-I&C Qualification;

• Contractualization with laboratories;

• Follow-up and surveillance of test campaigns to the laboratories:

• Reporting of Qualification results into synthetic documents;

• Studies performed in the framework of qualification extensions;

• Studies in the framework of the obsolescence management of qualified equipment.
