Business Intelligence Architect

BI Architect – Contract

We are seeking a BI Architect to design and deliver scalable business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making. The role involves translating business requirements into conceptual data models and BI solution blueprints, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring alignment with reporting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Capture and document BI requirements from stakeholders.
• Design conceptual data models (e.g., star/snowflake schemas).
• Develop BI solution blueprints including data sources and visualizations.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and BI Developers to ensure data accuracy and dashboard alignment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog prioritization.
• Validate BI solutions for accuracy, usability, and performance.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Power BI and dimensional modelling.
• Skilled in data exploration, profiling, and analysis.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and data governance tools.
• Knowledge of Azure Databricks, dbt, ESG reporting, and the Energy sector is beneficial.
• French or Dutch native speaker with English proficiency (B1 or higher).
