For a specific project located in Ghent, TMC is actively looking for a Functional Analyst to join our Digital & IT department — someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.

About This Vacancy

As a Functional Analyst, you’ll act as a technical expert ensuring that stakeholder requirements are accurately translated into development deliverables by our external partners.

⚠️ Note: This is a non-coding role — your focus will be on overseeing development activities and ensuring alignment with specifications.

Your Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder requirements (business, architecture, security, etc.) into clear software and UI specifications.
• Communicate these specifications to external development and testing partners.
• Own your development tracks: prioritize, monitor progress, and ensure quality delivery in collaboration with product owners.
• Provide third-line support: analyze issues, propose solutions, and ensure timely implementation.
• Stay ahead of tech trends and propose innovative enhancements to our products.

What We Expect From You

• Master’s degree in Electronics or IT.
• 5+ years of experience in a software development environment.
• Strong interest or proven experience in IoT, machine-to-machine communication, and app/web development.
• Experience with cloud applications and business analysis is mandatory.
• Conceptual thinker with an innovative mindset.
• Team player with a solution-oriented approach to technical challenges.
