European Group Controller

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for an European Group Controller (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Londerzeel .

Our client is a fast growing company active in the media sector .

As European Group Controller (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing month-end close and consolidation processes ;
• Ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial results ;
• Preparing internal financial statements and reports; preparing semi-annual financial reporting for parent company ;
• Conducting account reconciliations and analysis ;
• Assisting in special projects as needed ;
• Managing Senior and Staff Accountants ;
• Ad hoc projects : key role in ERP implementation.

The required profile for the European Group Controller (m/f/x) position:

• A Master degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration ;
• A first experience in public or industry accounting is necessary for this role ;
• Knowledge of US GAAP is an asset ;
• Fluency in English is necessary, a good knowledge of Dutch and/or German or one of the Scandinavian languages is a plus ;
• The ideal candidate is IT literate and has a good ERP understanding ;
• The right candidate is an open-minded and accurate team player with a strong work ethics.
