Technical Sales Engineer

Delta Engineering is growing. To support this growth, we're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to manage and further develop the German-speaking market.

Your responsibilities

As technical sales engineer, you offer solutions to customers' needs in the field of automation and quality control in the production of plastic bottles.

• You maintain relationships with customers in the German-speaking market and are responsible for the further development of this market.
• Thanks to your good listening skills, you are able to clearly identify the needs of the (potential) customers. You can immediately make the translation to the solutions Delta Engineering can offer.
• Together with your internal colleagues, you examine which solution offers the best answer to the customer's needs.
• You prepare technical presentations of the machines and production lines and explain these to (potential) customers.
• You recommend new and improved products, also to existing customers.
• You prepare layouts and quotations for new lines as well as for any modifications of existing lines and defend them to the customer.
• You participate in trade fairs and represent Delta Engineering.

Your talents

• You enjoyed a higher technical education (Bachelor/Master's degree)
• You already have several years of experience in a similar position
• You can work both independently and as part of a team.
• You have an analytical mind and can tackle problems creatively
• You are driven with a "can do" mentality
• You can express yourself fluently in German and English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Good software skills; experience with Autocad is an advantage
• You are willing to travel (up to 25%) and work in an international environment.
