Role Description

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Project Planner to join our site team on a hyperscale data center project in Mons, Belgium. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional, ideally a recent graduate in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, who has 1–2 years of experience in large-scale industrial construction projects (data centers, advanced manufacturing, or similar).


The successful candidate must have at least 1 year of hands-on experience using Primavera P6 on a live large-scale project, this is a mandatory requirement.


Working under the guidance of the Senior Project Planner, you will support the development, management, and monitoring of detailed project schedules. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, track progress, identify potential delays, and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role also includes supporting pre-construction tendering activities, contributing planning input to bids and proposals, and assisting with planning tasks on other projects in the region as needed.


This role is ideal for someone who is highly ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in planning within the industrial construction sector.


Main Duties and Responsibilities for the Planner:

Project Scheduling

  • Develop and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Track the critical path, key milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
  • Support the Senior Project Planner in maintaining accurate progress updates and reports.


Resource & Budget Coordination

  • Assist with resource and cost loading into schedules.
  • Collaborate with estimators and engineers to align labour, equipment, and material planning.


Collaboration & Reporting

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Prepare and share schedule updates and progress reports.
  • Participate in planning meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.


Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify risks and potential scheduling conflicts.
  • Support the Senior Project Planner in developing mitigation strategies.


Tendering & Pre-Construction Support

  • Provide input for tender schedules and pre-construction planning.
  • Develop preliminary schedules and resource assessments for bids and proposals.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience for the Planner:

  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Mandatory: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience using Primavera P6 on a live, large-scale industrial construction project.
  • 1–2 years’ professional experience in large-scale industrial construction projects (data centers, advanced manufacturing, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, driven, and eager to learn from senior colleagues.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in French and/or Dutch is highly desirable.
  • Must already be authorised to work in Belgium (Belgian/EU nationals or residents preferred).
  • Full EU driver’s licence.
