Business Development Manager

Compass Group is the world’s largest Food Services provider, serving companies, institutions, schools, and the healthcare sector. In Belgium, we employ over 1,600 people under brands such as Eurest, Medirest, Scolarest, Gourmet Invent, Amalthea, J&M Catering, Silverspoon, and Tom & Della's.

We’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to grow our New Business Public – Medirest (Senior Living) segment. If you’re a hunter who thrives on building relationships, winning new clients, and developing tailor-made solutions, this could be your next big challenge!

What you’ll do:

• Identify and prospect new business opportunities in the public sector.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Plan meetings with potential and existing clients to maximize opportunities.
• Drive the sales process from first contact to closing deals.
• Nurture accounts until client needs are met.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the food or healthcare sector.
• Energetic, proactive, creative, and results-driven.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for food and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Strong networking skills; having an existing network in the public/healthcare sector is a big plus.
• Fluent in French and Dutch (essential), good knowledge of English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Experience preparing project-based, tailor-made proposals.
