SHUTDOWN MANAGER - CCGT

Location: Marchienne-au-Pont, Belgium

Contract duration: 12 months – Expected to be renewed until Summer 2027

We are seeking an experienced Shutdown Manager to lead the preparation and execution of a major two-month shutdown of a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with key contractors, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards, cost control, and scheduling.

The role is based in Marchienne-au-Pont, Belgium and will be on a contract basis for 12 months renewable and the mission will likely come to a close in September 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead shutdown planning and execution across maintenance, upgrades, and project activities.
• Coordinate with turbine and generator contractors for shaft line maintenance.
• Define and implement HSE procedures and audits.
• Manage shutdown documentation, reporting, and feedback processes.
• Oversee budget planning, vendor selection, and scheduling.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in CCGT operations and shutdowns.
• Proven track record in industrial project management.
• Strong background in maintenance and operations.
• Engineering degree (Bac +5 or equivalent).
• Fluent in French and English.
